SCA 2026 : Connect to Women BOF

At SCA 2026, WHPC Taiwan, invited by RIKEN R-CCS, co-organized the “Connect to Women” BOF with RIKEN R-CCS, bringing together participants focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in HPC. 

To create a more inclusive environment beyond authority-driven formats, the session used small-group discussions and exchange-based interactions. This design encouraged open participation, diverse perspectives, and collective reflection.

Engaged in discussions with the Southeast Asia International Joint-Research and Training Program, revealing a lack of similar organizations in other Asian regions.

On October 21, we conducted an outreach event targeting Taiwanese middle and high school girls and their relatives, introducing them to WHPC and the HPC field, with over 100 participants, aimed at demystifying the HPC domain for young women.
